SMEs establish the predominant type of business association, representing over 95% and up to 99% of ventures relying upon the nation (OECD 2006). While only one out of every odd private venture transforms into a global, they all face a similar issue in their initial days finding the assets to empower them to begin and develop the business and test their item or administration. This article will be taking a gander at the significant wellsprings of fund for SMEs and new businesses, additionally will be taking a gander at the favorable circumstances and disservices of this different sources. Besides I will draw from the talks notes, classes with various venture and different sources to recognize these sources and their points of interest and impedime nts. Assets are hard to hotspot for particularly in this current time of downturn. In any case, assets can be sources through different methods every one of which have it legitimacy and negative marks. The choice with regards to what wellspring of fund will be the best will rely upon, the expense of obtaining, the timeframe the cash will be need, what is the cash for and eventually whether the firm can restitution. Consumes (2007) The most significant thought in choosing the wellspring of money for SMEs is to find some kind of harmony value and obligation and to ensure the wellspring of account suits the business. What separate (cash acquired) obligation and value are that money related foundations request premium and capital reimbursements, yet obligations is typically held facing a business resources or individual properties of the proprietors. The wellsprings of fund for new companies and SMEs can be partitioned into two: inside which incorporates (individual investment funds, loved ones) and outer incorporates (exchange credit, investments, business point, employing and renting, bank advances, Factoring and receipt limiting, award, bank overdraft). Inner sources: Individual reserve funds, loved ones: this is frequently the beginning stage for most SMEs where the proprietor utilizes his/her investment funds to fire up the business, might be later in the business others might be readied help you out model the instance of Amazon that was appeared in class where his folks and companions helped eventually, additionally is the equivalent for the majority of the business person welcomed on in the course. It ought to be noticed that for loved ones the purpose behind financing ought to be known as some may give thusly to have portion of the business which probably won't be unequivocal, in other to keep away from these a composed understandings would be a superior choice expressing the premise of such subsidizing. A bit of leeway is that this shows the proprietor has some degree of certainty and promise to the business undertaking and may make it simpler to pick up cash from others. It costless type of account, however there is higher danger of the cas h being lost since the business visionary thought probably won't be completely evolved. Outer sources: Awards: Grants are regularly accessible from chambers, nearby specialists, and other Government organizations for explicit reasons. For instance there might be designs by the legislature or chamber to restore or support the improvement of a segment or a territory. On the other hand there are a few foundations that causes business visionary to lunch new business. One detriment is that survey to awards can be serious as certain organizations are arranged more significant than others and it very well may be hard to find an individual or associations who will give assets for private venture. A favorable position is that most awards dont require recompense and has no intrigue. Bank Overdraft: An overdraft is concurred entireties which a client can overdraw structure his present record. Bank overdraft can be a decent wellspring of transient account to assist a business with regular lack of assets that doesn't require long haul arrangement. The charges fluctuates and are connected to the bank rate. The upside of overdraft is that it is consistently there when it is need and it is at no expense (anyway little charge are charged) it assists with keeping up a decent income. Likewise it rushes to set-up when contrasted with a credit. Overdraft disservices. The loan fee on an overdraft can be very high, particularly for little firms where the hazard to the bank that they probably won't recover their cash is more prominent. Moreover, the business isn't permitted to surpass their overdraft limit. On the off chance that they do, the bank may decline to pay checks to lenders and may hit the business with a weighty charge for surpassing the breaking point. Overdraft o ffices can be re-haggled yet on the off chance that this is attempted too often, it might be a sign to the bank that a business lacks power over its funds. Investments (VCs): It is otherwise called private value fund. This source is frequently most occasions utilized in the beginning periods (or a later stage contingent upon the kind of VCs) of building up another business, where the danger of disappointment is high however the conceivable income may well likewise be high. Funding dealings are, just about  £500,000 to  £10 million, or above. Funding most time gives second round financing after Business holy messengers. Investors put enormous totals of cash as a byproduct of an offer in the organizations value and furthermore anticipate a decent profit for their venture. It ought to be noticed that investors most occasions are firm or agent of a parent firm. One preferences of getting a VC are they give huge aggregate of fund and the noteworthy aptitude, contacts and encounters they have get while running different organizations. Moreover effectively pulling in an investment makes it some of the time simpler to get others for additio nal financing. Case of postulations is the Dragons Den. Then again detriment getting it with a financial speculator might be a long and troublesome procedure. As it will require drawing up a very much nitty gritty arrangement, money related projections which may require proficient assistance or companions who have such information, legitimate necessity might be required on getting to the exchange stage these administrations should be paid for whether the store was made sure about. Likewise there is propensity for VCs to impact or assume responsibility for the business. Business Angels: Business blessed messengers (BAs) are likewise know as edge financial specialists, they are rich people who put resources into a potential high development organizations as a byproduct of an offer in the responsibility for business. They are ordinarily included at a beginning time of the business. A few BAs contribute as an individual, while others do as a major aspect of a gathering, or venture club. BAs regularly make their own aptitudes, experience and contacts accessible to the organization. BAs as a rule put resources into organizations somewhere in the range of  £10,000 and  £750,000 as individual and up to  £1,000,000 or more as a gathering. One favorable position of BAs is that they regularly settle on a brisk speculation choices, without complex evaluations. (for example at the point when it bids to them or a territory of intrigue) However, an expert and decidedly ready field-tested strategy will be expected to stand out enough to be noticed. Most BAs bring pertinent experience, ability, time, and contacts they have developed additional time. Most BAs are submitted and do all that they can to make the business work. The burden of BAs is that they are hard to track down and dont make speculations normally, additional time will be gone through with the BAs rather with the business giving data, The business visionary may misfortune some degree of command over the business, finding the correct financial specialists might be troublesome, likewise there is inclinations for the BAs to need to remain in the business in this manner turning into a â€Å"devil†. The British Business Angels Association (BBAA) is a decent wellspring of finding BA arranges likewise they help in getting ready and introduction of strategic agreements. Receipt Discounting and Invoice Factoring: This includes an organization re-appropriating its invoicing exercises to an outside association. It makes subsidizes accessible in barely any days to the business base on the estimations of the exceptional solicitations. At that point procedure, It starts by the firm creation deals, sending the receipt to the client, sending a duplicate of the receipt to the figuring foundation where essential dealings and examinations is done on the client after which a concurred level of the receipt is paid by the considering organization, generally 70-80% inside 24 hours. This administration accompanies a cost which incorporate organization charges, intrigue, credit security charges, and so on the significant preferred position of this wellspring of account is the snappy accessibility of assets which can be channel into another part of the business, additionally with nearness of many figuring organizations, this makes costs serious, further it makes arra ngement of money related arranging and income simpler and smoother, it tends to be a proficient and savvy was of sub getting that territory of the business which decreases the time spent pursuing installment. It is additionally a chance to realize the credit remaining of your clients which can help in arranging a superior arrangement with your providers and client. The drawback is that the charges will suggest a decrease in the overall revenue, moreover it might restrict the manner in which business is done as the calculating organization might need to vet your customers. It might lessen the degree of acquiring as the receipt isn't accessible as security, likewise some client may want to manage their providers. In the circumstance where the client default the business needs to pay likewise an extra expenses might be charged. Exchange credit: a few organizations rely upon the acquisition of an item from different organizations (providers) to run their venture. Exchange credit is where a provider gives out his item to a client using a credit card hoping to pay sometime in the future. Most exchange loan bosses take into consideration a time of 30 days or longer before installment are made, this can permit the business to utilize the assets in the short ter

The Inevitability of Allied Victory in Europe During World War Two free essay sample

Anyway Allied triumph in the end became unavoidable after certain defining moments in the war, this exposition will show how the two most significant defining moments, the Battle for Stalingrad and the passage of the USA into the war changed a potential German triumph into an inescapable Allied triumph. Fundamentally this article will show that all out war and modern gigantism don't ensure triumph in strife. One should likewise wonder why Germany would have such a drive for war whenever Allied triumph was imagined to be unavoidable. After all what warrior would take on the unwinnable conflict? Richard Overy states in Why the Allies Won that ‘no normal man in mid 1942 would have speculated the possible result of the war’ . To value the validity of this announcement and the likelihood of German triumph, the early long stretches of the war must be taken a gander at reflectively, and Germany’s position strategically, monetarily and socially should be examined. Despite the fact that Germany was out-coordinated underway and numbers there is no motivation to accept that the early long periods of the war highlighted unavoidable Allied victory.WW2 in Europe was encouraged by many contributing variables. Generally acknowledged however is the possibility that most Germans were angry of the mortifying destruction in WW1 which in following, Germany had to sign the bargain of Versailles. Financial fiasco resulted because of the enormous reparations the victors requested. Hence it isn't astounding that upon the Nazi Parties rise the German individuals quickly aggrandised Hitler, an injured Linz Regiment corporal from the First World War who guaranteed a masculine long for another German Empire. Re-deadly implement of Germany was soon to follow, despite the treaty’s preclusion of this, and an exceptionally prepared, prepared and roused military war machine was manufactured. Details At this point Germany had 195 divisions 28 of which were tip top shielded or panzer divisions, key components in the army’s capacity to battle a Blitzkrieg war. Hitler at that point moved to add Austria and Czechoslovakia which he prevailing with regards to doing while at the same time staying away from any contention. Germany’s next move was to take Poland in the wake of marking a non-hostility bargain with Russia.Poland’s out of date armed force fell in one month. The early long periods of the war saw the German war machine make smashing blows in Europe. Hitler’s raid was merciless and dazzling to his foes who wound up trapped in its way or all the more regularly cut off by its circling strategies. After the fall of Poland the German Army turned south and battled a Blitzkrieg war through the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg and France. Now Germany was without a doubt strategically better than each other country on Earth. ‘The German Army had battled a stunning campaign. It had shown itself practically exceptional in guard just as in offence’ It was situated to take Britain and the Soviet Union. Hitler had evaluated the French and British as feeble. In spite of the fact that this evaluation surely was not agent of the fearlessness and determination of the countries and even their military size it was anyway a precise portrayal of their status and strategic capacity. France was prepared having set its military at the Maginot line to battle a war of weakening, anyway Germany then again was not prepared to battle a war of whittling down and in fact would not. Utilizing raid and paratroopers the German Army encompassed the Maginot Line, crushing the protectors and pushing the British Expeditionary Force out to the ocean at Dunkirk. Right off the bat in the war Germany’s monetary may was huge yet not practically identical to the partners. Anyway this doesn't really imply that thrashing was an unavoidable result. Hitler’s expectations of the German financial standing universally before the war would almost certainly have given him a bogus figment of Germans monetary might. The insights assembled caused him not to survey the USA or Russia as the potential superpowers or modern goliaths they were to become, and as it should be. In 1936 America’s armed force was 110,000 men solid, its military spending was 1% of its yearly financial plan and it had no autonomous flying corps and an unarmed naval force The expectation was made that either nation would not have the option to assemble a powerful industry contrasted with Germany ’s inside a multi year time limit So is it sensible to state that even monetarily Germany was confronting a potential triumph despite the fact that such huge numbers of state this war was won by financial aspects and financial matters alone? Not just did Germany have a great creation capacity as of now yet it was sitting near possibly huge stores of assets, most quite the oil in The gatherings south of Rostov and Stalingrad. In 1941 German creation of raw petroleum was 33. 4 million tons contrasted with Russia’s 110 million tons. Presently at this phase in the war the USA was as yet not included so German duties despite the fact that on two fronts were just confronted with an enormous weight from Russia on the Eastern front.Certainly if Germany had taken the councils and their priceless oil Russia would have been injured and crushed? Yet additionally Germany would be remaining in a vastly improved monetary position. Having built up a thought of Germany’s ability monetarily and strategically and demonstrated that Allied triumph at that stage was not unavoidable it is currently time to take a gander at the defining moments and why the German position got inconceivable. The mid year of 1941 saw the war move east as the German armed force opened up an assault on the Soviet Union. Code named ‘Operation Barbarossa’ the assault accomplished total surprise.Stalin really must be persuaded that the German armed force was assaulting as he held confidence in the non-hostility settlement between the two nations. The war moved with mind blowing speed and with gigantic pincer developments that caught, executed and injured entire Russian armed force gatherings. In the wake of making profound entrances into Russia Hitler mysteriously requested a stop on the development before arriving at Moscow and the force of the assault was lost. It was not until winter had passed and the hotter climate showed up in April 1942 that Hitler moved to step up to the plate again. At this time Russian surveillance saw â€Å"Germans were focusing their powers on the southern piece of the Central Front’. Hitler’s plan was to move south with the sixth Army and the fourth Panzer Army and take first Rostov and afterward Stalingrad which would have adequately removed the councils and Russian oil †approximately 110 million tons of it . This move in itself could have finished the war for the Russians. Without the assemblies and its oil it would have been difficult to prepare the save divisions that hadnà ¢â‚¬â„¢t been crushed in 1941 during Barbarossa. At last soviet destruction would have permitted Hitler to restore his complete consideration to Britain and attacking her. Some may contend that German thrashing was constantly unavoidable on account of the possible inclusion of the USA. Anyway the contribution of the USA could never have happened if Britain fell. â€Å"Had the British selected an arranged harmony or surrendered to attack the USA would have withdrawn behind the dividers of a ‘fortress’ America’ This was a totally conceivable situation if Stalingrad and the councils had been taken .This activity generally would be a characterizing purpose of the war, yet was the misfortune at Stalingrad inescapable and along these lines prompting unavoidable Allied triumph? Initially the conditions must be taken a gander at. Hitler’s plan was to drive the fourth Panzer division straightforwardly south to Rostov, anyway he overestimated Rostov’s capacity to hold and stripped the sixth Army of its defe nsive layer and fuel as help for the fourth. Rostov was ineffectively shielded and caught relative simplicity. Simultaneously however Hitler requested the sixth Army to walk on to Stalingrad. This turned into a lethal choice. The sixth armed force was debilitated and had been walking for about a month and a half. A reasonable specialist would have stopped the sixth and permitted its protective layer and components of the fourth Panzer Army to connect up. Peculiarly this apparently straightforward thought that would have brought about a considerably more conclusive and reinforced power showing up at Stalingrad was not actualized and the sixth armed force had to battle in very ominous conditions. Henceforth Germany unfit to convey the knockout hit to remove Russia from the war. They had included their most experienced soldiers in a contention which brought about colossal setbacks and misfortunes, which means any assault on the western front would additionally extend the German military. And at the same time they had neglected to obliterate the Soviet economy, which before the finish of ‘41 had put itself on a war balance, one which Germany was always unable to accomplish. Following Stalingrad the German Army endured monstrous annihilations on the whole Eastern Front until at last they could battle no longer. Thus the defining moment in the war was reached and the destiny of the war appears to have been chosen by Hitler’s impulse and rushed choices as opposed to the capacity of the German armed force to battle. Due to Hitler’s misfortune at Stalingrad and his inability to catch the extremely significant gathering oil just as the obliteration of the best pieces of his military an intrusion in the West was presently conceivable as well as up and coming. The attack came in as the US armed force at Normandy. The Western front turned into a staggering field for the Germans yet was just so pulverizing because of the impacts of the German misfortunes on th e Eastern front. Despite the fact that Hitler requested his stores to focus on safeguarding the Western front, it was still now an unavoidable result that the partners would be successful. Indeed, even the Battle of the Bulge had little any expectation of long haul accomplishment as the partners were shipping more supplies on to terrain Europe consistently, at a rate Germany couldn't would like to coordinate. By 1945 the Russian armed force had made it to Berlin and the war was over.In end

5 Things You Learn After Your 1st Term at University

5 Things You Learn After Your First Term at University Your first term at University can sometimes be tough, from making friends, to organising deadlines, to living away from home, there are many things that can seem overwhelming at first. Here are 5 things every student learns after surviving their first term at University. How to live with strangers Starting University can be daunting, and living with strangers even more so. However, the friends you make now could be life-long. Try to be a part of group activities and meet as many new people as possible. Friendship groups will naturally form, and before you know it you will be looking at second year houses together. It is important to also understand how other people decide to live, and how to deal with their messy attributes without causing too many arguments. You will also make friends on your course. These friends are vital when you have missed a 9am lecture and you desperately need the notes or you need help with coursework. How to cook to at least stay alive Baked beans and pot noodles will be your best friend. However, it is good to have a few simple and cheap recipes up your sleeve. Using sites like Pinterest, allow you to search for easy recipes that you can do with minimal ingredients. You’ll need good food to fuel your brain when it comes to writing your papers. Budgeting is important When your student loan enters your account, it feels like you will never even make a dent in the money. But after freshers’ week, you might be significantly worse off. It is important to know how far your money can stretch you. This is something that you will learn the hard way in your first term. However, you will be (hopefully) more cautious after that. It is important to know what is essential (food), and what you can miss out on occasionally (nights out). You could also look into getting a part time job to help with funding your time at University and to give a little more disposable cash. All-nighters are horrendous! We have all been there, where we decided not to start on an assignment until the night before it was due. It is difficult as a student to prioritise a night out and completing University work. Ultimately, the clock is ticking and it is now 11pm and you have written the title of your essay and then procrastinated on Netflix. An all-nighter in this sense, is something you only do once, apart from maybe in third year when you are finishing your dissertation. Sleep is surprisingly important! Staying organised University is about making you work a lot more independently than when you were at school. Because of this, you will need to organise yourself. Get a diary or new calendar app on your phone and make a note of all of your assignments and exams. You will need to pre-plan so you have enough time, as it seems tutors have a knack for all picking the same week for essay You also have to plan your holidays and visiting your family/friends at other Universities/back home. So it is even more important to know your timetable and when you have free time to be able to do this without it causing you to do another all-nighter.

Angela’S Ashes Essay Example For Students

Angela’S Ashes Essay Both books that Ive read, Angelas Ashes and The Color of Water both demonstrated behavior than can be considered dysfunctional. A dysfunctional family is one that fails to meet some or all the basic needs of its members. Sometimes these needs, such as food, shelter or clothing are so basic that people take them for granted. More often, emotional needs, such as the need for love, support and security go unmet. Although a family can be dysfunctional in several ways there are some characteristics that occur more often than others. Drugs, alcoholism, death, abandonment, starvation and anxiety are some examples of dysfunctional characteristics that can be found in both Angelas Ashes and The Color of Water. Just because a family is dysfunctional does not mean its members do not love each other. Dysfunction usually results from a large amount of problems in the lives of the parents. Parents usually do the best that they can with their children but the truth is that theyre human too and cant always manage the difficult task of parenting if they are overwhelmed by their own troubles. It could be that their parenting skills have been impaired by mental or physical illness or simply by ignorance. We will write a custom essay on Angela’S Ashes specifically for you for only $16.38 $13.9/page Order now Also, many parents of dysfunctional families grew up in unhealthy or abusive families themselves and dont know how to break the mold. It may be hard for a person in a dysfunctional family to believe or understand it, but the truth is that poor parenting is rarely intentional. The result of dysfunction vary from the type of dysfunction the family endures. Ive heard of people becoming abusive, alcoholics, drug abusers, or runaways. Some people are too weak to cope with the situations in their home, so they flee and start new lives which usually end up becoming dysfunctional again. Dysfunction rubs off on children. Because children are so vulnerable they look at their parents as role models. Children usually end up having no sense of their own reality; therefor no sense of self. The cannot deal properly with their own feelings because they have been taught to deny those feelings. they cant value their needs realistically because their needs have always come second to the needs of the family, which were to stop anything from changing in order to ward off abandonment. In The Color of Water the stepfather dies creating an unhealthy and new environment for the family. As the mother is now forced to raise her twelve children alone, she is forced to take on even more responsibility. Rachel Shilsky never before had a job. She was struggling to make ends meet. Playing games with her children to determine who was going to eat dinner and breakfast that day. The winners would eat and the losers would suffer because the family was living in poverty, not to say that poverty is a dysfunction, but the dysfunction develops as a reaction to the consequences that the family has to face. Many wealthy people  can become dysfunctional. Rachel places five children in two beds. Most of the time the kids were so uncomfortable that they chose to rather sleep on the cold cement floor of their Red Hook, Brooklyn housing project. The kids never realized that they were living a different life than other kids until they are sent to school and James, the youngest of twelve children asks his mother why she doesnt look like the other childrens moms. Not only are they living in different atmospheres enduring situations that most kids didnt have to endure, but their mother was white, the kids were mixed and the people in their neighborhood were all black. .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135 , .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135 .postImageUrl , .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135 .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135 , .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135:hover , .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135:visited , .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135:active { border:0!important; } .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135 .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135 { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135:active , .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135 .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135 .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135 .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135 .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135 .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135 .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .ua3217cd2e308d7dfb886d63a8b331135:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: 12 Angry Man By Reginald Rose EssayTheir family were outcasts. James and his siblings learned to deal with the color of their skin, the death of loved ones, the poverty and the fact that they didnt know where they came from. The children often thought about where their mother was from. We traded information on Mommy the way people traded baseball cards at trade shows, offering bits and pieces of information fraught with gossip, nonsense, wisdom and sometimes just plain foolishness. What does it matter to you anyway? my older brother Richie scoffed when I asked him if we had any grandparents, Youre adopted anyway. This shows how the children dealt with realities that they had no control over. Another time the kids would joke around with James telling him that Rachel wasnt his real mom, but his real mom was in jail. They would tease him until he seriously began to think about it. The only good thing that comes out of dysfunction is strength. Sometimes it takes years of therapy to find the strength and self-individuality but most of the time people find it. Other times people become empty and hopeless and look to substances, people or behaviors to fill themselves up because they have not learned to fulfill themselves from their own resources. People who have lived in dysfunction often need help in finding out who they are, separating from their families and learning how to love their lives, as themselves in mature healthy and functional ways. This is a more positive outlook into leaving dysfunctional ways. Angelas Ashes and The Color of Water are alike in many ways. Both stories contain mothers who are loving, caring and would do close to anything for their children . Angela goes as far as to begging for food and going to the St.Vincent DePaul Society for boots for the children. Both families have to cope with the absence of paternal figures when Malechy is constantly out to the pubs wasting the dole money that is supposed to be used for food and rent to satisfy his own habits while Angela is at home struggling to make ends meet without him. Malechy is not a proper father figure for his children. Rachel Shilskys first husband and second husband die leaving her to struggle to keep food on the table. She even manages to send  her children to summer camp. Rachel got her strength from turning to god. She was a dedicated church goer. Both families deal with criticism about their marriages. Franks mother Angela was criticized by her two cousins, Philomena and Delia the big breasted one for marrying Malechy who they didnt approve of because he was a Orangeman, someone from the North and to add to that he had Presbyterian in him. Rachel was constantly critiqued by her old family friends for marrying a black man twice and raising her children Christian. In both books the children were one time embarrassed by their mothers actions, in The Color of Water when Rachel would ride her little red bicycle around the neighborhood being the only white person in miles, she was bound to be a victim of robbery or possibly worse. In Angelas Ashes Frank becomes upset when his mother has no choice but to beg for food, to him that is worse than his father wasting the dole money. Not all the people in the books are survivors of dysfunction. Being raised in Limerick, Ireland is considered quite adysfunction If we look back on it today. With the rainy weather and the lack of medication and care, people died. Among those were Angelas children, Margaret the little baby, the twins Eugene and Oliver. Frank prospered and lives on today to tell his heartwrenching story of his hard times growing up in Limerick. James McBride lives on today to speak of his new found identity and his emotional journey through confusion. Both books help the reader to celebrate life and never take it for granted. I highly recommend both books.

Tragic flaw Essay Example

Tragic flaw Paper To what extent is the Summer Song sequence, sung by the narrator, a watershed in the play Blood Brothers? The three main themes of Willy Russells Blood Brothers are superstition, fate and class divides. These themes are overtly represented throughout the play. Because the play opens with a scene of the two dead boys there is a constant dramatic irony to all actions in the play; this inevitable tragedy undermines all the happiness in an ironic way. Near the start of the play, the deaths are only suggestions in the boys futures, but as the play develops the themes become more evident, eventually Summer Song is the turning point, the point of no return, the point where everything is as good as it gets. Russell gives the play a very clear and simple structure. The audience knows they are to sympathise with Mrs Johnstone. Not only is she a single mother, she is poor and working class too. Her character is the most developed and given more stage time and songs. Foreshadowing is a very important component of the plays structure. During the childrens game with toy guns, Mickey says, I dont want to die. He is subconsciously appealing to the devil to change his fate. We begin to pity Mickey because he is so defenceless and weak. The narrator creates tension and a feeling of inevitability by using phrases such as hes gonna find y' He is often depicted as Fate, appearing before and after important events, sometimes during, as if to pinpoint the moment, such as when Mrs Johnstone must swear on the bible that she will give away her baby. He is like a vulture circling above the twins, waiting for their inevitable deaths. His constant presence on stage and in the script keeps the ominous tones going. As they get older, he appears more often, worrying and reminding you that the twins death is coming closer. The Summer Song is when the boys pass the middle of their lives, the peak of the mountain, and begin to accelerate downwards with an unstoppable chain of events leading to their certain deaths. The boys envy each other, I wish I was a bit like That guy, and events occurring to either of them are usually echoed or mirrored by the other. As children, Mickey is seen as the lucky one in the game of life, while Edward seems destined to watch from the sidelines. However, after the Summer Song, once the boys are adults, there is no time for laughter, the game has ended, and Mickey can no longer play and must now work. Edwards lifestyle becomes the ideal, which angers Mickey. Blood Brothers is structured like a Greek tragedy, using death as a spectacle, one main plot and a sad ending. It has a clear time frame, songs and music and, most importantly, a tragic hero (Mickey), someone who falls from grace due to their tragic flaw. Most events are mirrored, for example the childrens game with toy guns(I shot y), to Sammys air rifle(he produces an air rifle), to the gun at the fair, to the gun Sammy uses to shoot someone(an explosion from the gun), to the gun Mickey kills Edward with (the gun explodes and blows Edward apart). Before the Summer Song the guns are either imaginary or toys, safe and harmless. However, afterwards, they are still used as freely as the pretend guns, but take real lives. References to Marilyn Monroe are constant. Like bright young things, like Marilyn Monroe. Dreams all night of girls that look like Marilyn Monroe. In the first song (Marilyn Monroe) Marilyn Monroe is a symbol of youth and beauty, but throughout she changes into one of tragedy, referring to her drug taking and consequential death, which coincides with Mickeys addiction to his anti-depressants. Sexier than Marilyn Monroe to off the rails, treats his ills with daily pills, he was dead, Like Marilyn Monroe The childrens game is echoed after the Summer Song. In the first half I got y, I shot y, An y bloody know I did, And in the second, You shot him, you shot him. I know I bloody did. This is a conversation between Mickey and Sammy, his older brother.

How the Jungian Theory has contributed to the History and Systems of Psychology

How the Jungian Theory has contributed to the History and Systems of Psychology Abstract Born in 1875, Carl Jung grew up to study human life and eventually developed several thoughts concerning human behavior. His concepts have received exponents and opponents of equal measure. Most people claim that his arguments are illogical with no or minimal stringent structures. Nonetheless, his exponents have utilized his thoughts and used them in conducting various psychological tests such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. This paper analyses the theories of Jung concerning human life coupled with how they have contributed to the history and systems of psychology. Introduction Born in 1875, Carl Jung has definitely played a significant role in the field of psychology even after his demise in 1961. His theories have received support and opposition in equal measure. However, despite his controversial nature, most psychologist and scholars still use his theories in making various decisions. His theories aimed at creating and promoting an association between the cognizant and oblivious (Thorne Henley, 2005).Advertising We will write a custom research paper sample on How the Jungian Theory has contributed to the History and Systems of Psychology specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More According to Jung, in the absence of the link between the two, the unconscious characteristics could abate and even destroy one’s personality. One of his popular theories was individuation, which refers to the individual growth that creates a link the ego to the ‘self’ (Pierce, 2005). This paper discusses the Jungian theories and their role in shaping the history and systems of psychology. Contribution of Carl Jung’s Theories in the History and Systems of Psychology Jung’s examination of human personality involved studies of faith, culture, and parapsychology. He primarily had a stronger impact on theorists and authors than psychologists did. Nonetheless, over the years, the rising queries on t he nature of human awareness and potential have triggered a sudden attention on Jung’s concepts such as those concerning attitude, functions, conscious, archetype, and psychological development (Carter, 2011). Attitude In addressing the issue of attitude, Jung developed the theories of introversion and extraversion. These ideologies have indubitably earned recognition with most psychologists and counselors who use them to test their patients’ attitude. For Jung, people can be broadly categorized into two groups, viz. those who view things from an outward perspective and those who judge things with an inward perception. Those who are inward-oriented, popularly known as introverts, are contented with their individual thoughts and beliefs (Pierce, 2005). However, the extroverts are at ease with the views of others and their decisions are highly influenced with their external environment.Advertising Looking for research paper on psychology? In his argument, Jung associates the two concepts to a heartbeat, which is only complete after contraction and expansion. The contraction represents introversion whilst expansion typifies extraversion (Engler, 2008). The discrepancy comes into play when a person seems to prefer a particular concept and makes most of his or her decisions according to that given type of mindset. Notably, these concepts also incorporate awareness and unconsciousness. For instance, if one analyzes an extrovert, it is likely that his or her unconscious will have an introverted approach because the individual’s unconsciousness is more extroverted whilst the conscious part is full of introverted values (Pierce, 2005). Moreover, none of the concept can be perceived to be the most superior. In some cases, introversion is more p ertinent than extroversion whilst in other scenarios the latter is more applicable than the former. The qualities are also equally distinct, viz. one cannot apply them in tandem. One should ensure that s/he employs either of the qualities only on situations where s/he is most pertinent to avoid having a fixed and stringent method of reacting to issues and relating with others. Since introverts tend to be preoccupied with their personal thoughts, they may develop loneliness for they are engrossed in their own world and may end up having a poor relation with the external world (Carter, 2011). Conversely, extroverts spend most of their time and energy to please others. The danger of such a quality is that they may fail to have time for their inner person and consequently make decisions that may endanger their lives.Advertising We will write a custom research paper sample on How the Jungian Theory has contributed to the History and Systems of Psychology specifically for you fo r only $16.05 $11/page Learn More The Functions Another outstanding contribution of Jung to the history and systems of psychology is the concept of type. According to Jung, the manner in which individuals feel, think, as well as experience is surprisingly disparate. This concept of type is essential in assisting both psychologists and even ordinary people to comprehend the nature in which people operate (Dolliver, 1994). He divides the essential psychological functions into four categories, viz. impression, instinct, thinking, as well as feeling. All these functions can be felt in an introverted or extraverted manner. However, every person has a particular function that seems to override the others even when it comes to their conscious. Out of the three remaining function, there is also a function that seems to be intensely rooted in the unconscious and can rarely be noticed, viz. inferior function. People normally make decisions and verdicts using the thinking and f eeling functions that surrogate each other. Thinking focuses on the sincerity, opinion, and uncongenial evaluation. It usually integrates uniformity and abstract standards. People with highly developed thinking function can be good strategists and planners. Nevertheless, they may be reluctant in accepting clashing opinions even if such conflicting ideas seem to be more practical than their theories. Feeling is value-oriented as it weighs the option between good and bad or correct and false, which is in contrast with thinking that tends to focus on the logic or competence of a decision. Jung classified perception and instinct in a solitary group, since they are both used as means of collecting information and not issuing verdicts. Perception or sensation is the exact sense experience, discernment of information, and tangible facts such as something that a person can smell, taste, or touch. Concrete testament attracts more attention than the evaluation or investigation of experience. People whose dominant function is sensation, viz. sensation types, are quick in responding to the immediate issue and can effectively resolve the existing crises (Pierce, 2005).Advertising Looking for research paper on psychology? Let's see if we can help you! Get your first paper with 15% OFF Learn More The fourth category of function, viz. intuition, involves understanding views in a form of likelihood, past results, prospective ambitions, and the unconscious development. This function tries to focus on the impact or outcome of doing something in a particular way. The predicted impact of making a decision is of much significance to intuitive characters than the actual impact. They rapidly relate new ideas to experience, expected results, and make the most appropriate decisions (Thorne Henley, 2005). The inferior function that Jung identifies is often the most primal for an evil force can drive it because some people can neither control nor comprehend it. For instance, a highly intuitive individual who cannot relate with his or her sensation function can consider his or her sexual desires as strange or perilous. Jung asserts that this function motivates people to have religious beliefs. Integrating and balancing all these functions help a person to associate well with his or her e nvironment. Every individual has an overriding function with one secondary dominant function (Engler, 2008). The remaining functions are often unconscious and less useful. This knowledge helps in understanding the flaws and strengths of others and can help in managing social relationships. The Unconscious Jung admits that it is intricate to determine the unconscious, and thus it can only be defined by understanding its association with the conscious, which has no boundaries. Jung further classifies the unconscious into personal and collective. The personal unconscious is composed of past bitter events or petty thoughts that are no longer part of the conscious. In the case of collective unconsciousness, it is the most debated theory of Jung. It postulates that although people are born and they develop incongruently, they have a common unconsciousness (Carter, 2011). The mental and biological heritage that everyone is born with determines the behavior as well as experience. For Jung, this unconsciousness helps people to invent constructive ideas and skills. Archetype This theory is one of the most sophisticated theories of Jung. Archetypes are inborn tendencies that are used to react to various issues in the world. They are depictions of the natural energies espoused by a collective unconsciousness. Jung describes the archetype as components that develop structures inside the unconscious. The key structures of personality such as persona, shadow, ego anima, animus, and self are also part of archetype (Merchant, 2009). Persona refers to image a person discloses to the world. In a bid to receive good reception in public, there are certain behaviors one has to adopt. Those who refuse to adopt such characters are likely to face rejection. The effect of a persona may be good or bad. Certain types of personas can asphyxiate an individual especially if they are phony. It can promote growth in individuals because as they adopt particular social roles, their ego slowly a pproves it (Engler, 2008). Unfortunately, this approval may also have a negative effect for as the ego approves the new social roles, people begin to assume that the false faces are their actual personality. Sadly, Jung asserts that people are forced to depart from this false personality during individuation. Ego is a sense that promotes steadiness in moving towards the conscious part of life. It attempts to resist any move to contravene consciousness and urges people to analyze their ideas before making an ultimate decision. The ego has no unconscious elements, but conscious components only, which originate from one’s individual experience. Consequently, Jung compels people to assume that ego is a key structure of psyche, thus ignoring the other portion of psyche that is unconscious (Merchant, 2009). The shadow comprises all the unconstructive values that one wishes to avoid because they are converse to his/her persona and social norms. The shadow puts emphasis on issues tha t are introverted by a person’s consciousness. If an individual fails to identify it, shadow becomes dangerous for the person may display his or her rejected values in public, and consequently be abandoned. However, shadow is unavoidable because it is inherent. Anyone who ignores that shadows archetype exists is denying the fact that the society is made up of both good and bad. Jung also developed the concept of anima and animus. These concepts exemplify the psychological issues that cannot relate with a person’s self-image (Dolliver, 1994). Hence, though a woman may refer to conscious terms that are feminine, the animus may incorporate some of unfamiliar behaviors that stand out as masculine. The course of mental growth in the female counterparts requires that they integrate their ego with the animus. Although at the primary level, the anima or animus may appear as a distinct personality, it starts merging with the unconscious and conscious after identification and ev entually becomes part of the self. However, if the self is oblivious of the anima or the animus, an individual tends to portray it to the opposite sex. For example, all men have a character that is analogous to women although it is unconscious. This character is often portrayed to women whom men love and thus promote intimate relationships. Moreover, the growth of the concept of anima and animus is largely espoused by relationship between a child and his or her opposite sex parent (Engler, 2008). These two concepts largely affect the relations that people have with the opposite sexes. Since they have the power to link a person with his or her unconscious forces, anima and animus are a good way of determining one’s ability. Conclusion Jung’s theories have occasionally received opponents who claim that his ideas are illogical and fail to portray an organized system of thoughts. His critics state that he uses disparate descriptions for a single term. However, he intention ally created a flexible structure that can accept new ideas without necessarily altering them to merge into theoretical construction for he conceded to the thought that he could provide all the theoretical solutions to every issue. Perhaps, this notion explains why his theories are currently still highly pertinent and can be used to analyze most problems in the modern culture. The popularity of his concepts is still consistently augmenting. Prominent psychological testing techniques such as Myers-Briggs type Indicator apply Jung’s theory. In essence, the role of Carl Jung in the history and systems of psychology is indisputable. References Carter, D. (2011). Carl Jung in the twenty-first century. Hospitality Property Operations Assignment Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 500 words

Hospitality Property Operations - Assignment Example However, in reality, the previous stock is not fully utilized and wasted awfully and there is the overstock of supplies also been observed in the hotel of which some is spoiled as well. In order to maintain cleanliness and other satisfaction is driven parameters for the customers, the storeroom remains open all the time and everyone has the access to it. There is no proper placement of supply items in the storeroom rather there is a mess of supplies everywhere even in the telephone room. The supplies are not rightly used by the housekeeping staff like shampoos are used for cleaning the bathtub and furniture polish is used over Formica which though seems chemically effective but not the right way thus resulting in increased cost. Another issue is that things are not fully used that contributes to additional costs like everyday soap and shampoo is added to every washroom even previous is still there. Garbage bags of large size are often used that are half filled and thrown away despite using the smaller one to optimize their usage. The management structure needs to be autocratic and hierarchic to mold the behavior of the staff and to keep the check on them while using the supplies. A position may be created and the personnel may be dedicated full time for the purpose. There must be someone responsible for the storeroom and only limited access be provided to the staff. Another issue is that things are not fully used that contributes to additional costs like everyday soap and shampoo is added to every washroom even previous is still there. Garbage bags of large size are often used that are half filled and thrown away despite using the smaller one to optimize their usage.

Work and leisure. What you think about work and leisure based on the Essay

Work and leisure. What you think about work and leisure based on the books (use reference) - Essay Example John Locke argues from the spiritual dimensions that give aspects of work some real value and meaning. For example, he says that God gave nature freely to the universe but human beings used the actions of labor to give themselves property in terms of land, plantations, and buildings to get income value. He further argues that through doing work human beings made money, which is the determinant of the value of work (Locke 36). Therefore, people draw leisure from what they have invested to create support and comfort for their existence. In summary, Locke views work as God-given aspect of life, and the support that accrue to life is due to man improving the nature that God gave. That is to say, work and leisure are gifts from God. In his view, Josef Pieper stipulates that leisure is a mare attitude of mind and a function of the soul that brings the reality of the world societies. Additionally, he illustrates that true religion has its foundations and primarily thrives on leisure (Pieper, Dru and Pieper 17). In other words, he says that leisure gives human beings the time to appreciate the nature of God, hence forming part of human culture. However, in the current society, work is killing entertainment, which will eventually destroy the tranquility of human culture. Pieper’s revelation reveals that work and leisure conflict in the principality, of which leisure is a way of appreciating God’s creation. Therefore, work builds the very elements that create leisure activities such as sports. Schumacher in â€Å"Buddhist Economics,† gives yet another dimension of viewing work and recreation. The author argues that the fundamental source of wealth is work, whose measurement is in terms of human labor. Economist view work as an unavoidable aspect that should be kept to the bare minimum (Schumacher 1). On the contrary, human beings sacrifice their leisure in exchange for income from work.

The Advantages of Studying Abroad Essay Example for Free

The Advantages of Studying Abroad Essay Studying abroad has been a hotly discussed topic. Various reasons have been analyzed. My writing will critically present the main ones. In the first place, study efficiency is what I put in my priority. It cannot be denied that students are greatly motivated when they study in another country. The national pride inside themselves encourages them to study harder in order to compete with foreign students. The desire to improve their country’s image is likely to boost their studious spirit. Therefore, their academic performances have a tendency to be remarkably improved. More interestingly, foreign education creates chances for students to study at colleges that have the best teaching quality and learning environment in a specific field of studies that they are in favor of. For example, German and Japan are the two most countries for their education in chemical industry. Students are able to learn from the best chemistry teachers and professors in the world. As a result, their learning is definitely developed. Without doubt, studying abroad enables students to haverst fantastic results. In the second place, skill development holds no less importance. It is widely known that there likelihood for students to promote their time-management skill when they learn in a different country. They live on their own then and have no family support on completing household tasks. They also have to take part in many extra-curricular activities. They are forced to create a well-organized time table in order to have enough time for learning. Hence, their abilities to manage time are undoubtedly enhanced. More notably, only by studying in a foreign country can students heighten their decision-making skill. It is attributed to the fact that their parents are not around to make decision for them. They must determine everything by themselves. Additionally, there are lots of dangerous seduction they are bound to face in their independent life. It requires them the ability to resist insidious pleasure and come to the best choice. Thus, they stand a golden chance to improve their ability to hand out good decisions. With no doubt, studying in a country far from home is a beneficial way for students to sharpen their skills considerably. Last but not least, personal enjoyment draws much of my attention. It is common knowledge that studying abroad brings students opportunity to approach a new culture. It is possible for them to get to know to different life style and customs, witness religious activities and taste special dishes of the local people near their schools or colleges. Consequently, their spiritual life is full of excitement and pleasure. More importantly, studying abroad involves helps students to have friends from around the world. International friendships are surely built when students from numerous countries gather in a particular place to study. Students definitely relish the enjoyment of having multinational relationships. Beyond sany doubt, foreign education brings students happiness. In a nutshell, not only study efficiency, skill development but also personal enjoyment are the convincing reasons for studying abroad. I highly recommend that students should take my writing into detailed consideration to make an effective decision on foreign education.

Comparing Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night and After a Time Essays

Comparing Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night and After a Time Dylan Thomas' "Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night" and Catherine Davis' "After a Time" demand comparison: Davis' poem was written in deliberate response to Thomas'. Davis assumes the reader's familiarity with "Do Not Go Gentle," which she uses to articulate her contrasting ideas. "After a Time," although it is a literary work in its own right, might even be thought of as serious parody--perhaps the greatest compliment one writer can pay another. "Do Not Go Gentle in That Good Night" was written by a young man of thirty-eight who addresses it to his old and ailing father. It is interesting to note that the author himself had very little of his own self-destructive life left as he was composing this piece. Perhaps that is why he seems to have more insight into the subject of death than most people of his age. He advocates raging and fighting against it, not giving in and accepting it. "After a Time" was written by a woman of about the same age and is addressed to no one in particular. Davis has a different philosophy about death. She "answers" Thomas's poem and presents her differing views using the same poetic form--a villanelle. Evidently, she felt it necessary to present a contrasting point of view eight years after Thomas's death. While "Do Not Go Gentle" protests and rages against death, Davis's poem suggests a quiet resignation and acquiescence. She seems to feel that raging against death is useless and profitless. She argues that we will eventually become tame, anyway, after the raging is done. At the risk of sounding sexist, I think it interesting that the man rages and the woman submits, as if the traditi... ...much sensory suggestiveness. She gives us "things lot,' a "reassuring ruse," and "all losses are the same." Her most powerful image--"And we go striped at last the way we came"==makes its point with none of the excitement of Thomas's rage. And yet, I prefer the quiet intelligence of Davis to the high energy of Thomas. "And we go stripped at last the way we came" can give strange comfort and solace to those of us who always envied those in high places. Death is a great leveler. People are not all created equal at birth, not by a long shot. But we will bloody well all be equal when we make our final exit. Kings, pope, and heads of state will go just as "stripped" as the rest of us. They won't get to take anything with them. All wealth, power, and trappings will b left behind. We will all finally and ultimately be equal. So why rage? It won't do us any good.

Long period of time Essay

I was lucky to interview someone from the RTW Garments industry and whose day seems endless from deadlines and fast phased fashion trends to chase. He is Mr. Dave Smith. He graduated in an art school, majored in advertising and decided to pursue Graphics artistry as a career. What do you like/best worst about your job/work? What I really love about this job is the access you get to the latest trends in graphic designs and the fashion shows that only few famous people that works in the industry knows of until it hits the magazine stands sort of a VIP pass. Well, developing new trends is also one of those and also seeing other people buying and appreciating your work would be the most rewarding thing that can happen. Well, the worst would be getting your most loved works be rejected for its not in season, its out of budget or for some insane random reason they have up their sleeves. Office politics sometimes kicks-in too but that’s another thing. What are the steps necessary to break into the field? It was hard at first breaking into the industry when you want to make it big as a fresh graduate. The worst part about it was, the companies taking advantage of your status. I experienced being paid below minimum wage for quite some time, and all that you’re left to do is be patient and gain experience from all of it. But with my goal at an aim on my mind, I’m now in one of the leading brand there is in this industry. The basic would be getting to know what software to use and why. Some of it is Photoshop, Corel, Illustrator and Freehand. Another investment that you must have is a quirky imagination to stand out and create something new. If you don’t have it, you must know the latest trend there is and what sells in the market, have a market survey and what appeals most of your target market. Browsing through magazines and the internet is a must to survive, for it helps you formulate what other possibilities there is in a particular design/look you want to achieve. There’s also the printing aspect of it, which a graphic artist must also be armed with. So that you’ll know or have a peek of the end result of the artwork you did. It’s definitely a plus if you know at least some of it. What is a typical day like for you? A typical day for me would be buried in the computer for a long period of time. As in long, until I can dig a hole in my chair at the office. Its either you search for references for whatever seasoned collection your boss wants you to do, what your mind ticked you to do, or you’re doing promotional item before you knew it. Well, in the place I work in I never had a single day without having a new assignment to work on. What are some related occupations to your profession? As a graphic artist, you can choose which field to specialize in. You can be in the garments, in a printing company, product development division, as photo editor, as a company’s only graphics artist who’ll do their collaterals. There are really so many job opportunities as a graphic artist, as long as it involves photo editing and vectors. Do you see yourself doing the same job till you get older? Yes I do see myself being in the business till I age. I mean, it pays well to people who are experienced, who perseveres and also as long as I feel that being a Graphic artist fulfill my purpose. One thing more, if you really enjoy what you are doing you, you felt the fulfillment in every thing that you do, definitely you will stay on the job your in. What made you decide to pursue this profession? I decided to pursue this because it makes me feel accomplished as an artist, as a designer, as a human being who appreciates art, it makes me feel happy that at the end of the day I know I can make someone feel confident, happy, at-home with their statement with my designs. It’s like I liberated someone from being a fashion victim, because I care for what other people look like, and because its feels great to lift someone up in a different way. I do believe that Fashion is good for the soul every once in a while. A boost of confidence one design might give, getting your message across through the artworks’ you did. It’s all worth-it even though the deadlines are next to impossible sometimes, and the revisions are inevitable, but still I have to go up there because I know in my own way I’m helping other people feel good about themselves. After this interview I had, I have a deeper reason why I should pursue to be a Graphic artist. With all the things my interviewee mentioned, I have a deeper knowledge and appreciation of who I want to be. Whether what field of graphics designing I want to concentrate on. There are really so many choices. I’m sure I can pick out something that I like among it. I know it will take me a lot of hard work, patience, and determination to be able to achieve my goals. In addition to that the job also pays well, I don’t mind being in front of the PC for such a long time, as long as I know that I can express my ideas and thoughts very well thorough the means of designing and I have to agree also with what Mr. Smith told me, that it feels great to make someone better through your work, and that’s really fulfilling as an artist.
